Guillermo Rivas

Hey class of 98! I can't believe it's been ten years. I'm not going to be able to make it to the reunion, so I thought I'd share a little bit about myself.
Well where can I start? After graduating I kind of bounced around all over the state, mainly working construction. I moved in with one of my ex-girlfreinds, who I had been dating over a year in 2000, and ended up moving back east (PA) with her soon after. I started working refrigeration for her family and things were going pretty well. After about two years, things started getting a little rocky between us, I used to blame things on her but have realized now that I'm all grown, I might have had commitment issues. Anyways we ended up splitting, so I moved back to Boise in 03. I started school almost right away, went to Northwest Lineman College and graduated in 04. After graduation I ended up taking a job in Atlanta, GA, building powerlines, xciting huh! I traveled all over the south, spent 5 weeks in New Orleans, after Hurricane Katrina hit, restoring power. After about a year the south got pretty old, so I moved out to CA in 05, and currently live in Merced, CA (central CA). I've been out here, going on three years now, working for Pacific Gas and Electric, as a lineman. California is hot and crowded, but it's a pretty fun place to live at. What I really like about this place is how diverse it is, and I'm about two hours away from everything, beach, mountains, and the big cities. Well that's about all I have to say about myself, if anyone wants to drop me a line or a hello, you can reach me at rivasg01@yahoo.com, hope to hear from you-s. Oh yeah, the girl in the pic is my girlfreind Kanaka, been with her over a year now, she says hello-
